Haibane dropped nau
It was license rescued by Funimation.
Hopefully they’ll retranslate or at least proofread the subtitles, they’re usually quite good about that. Unfortunately the video quality will most likely get even worse :(

Our elite team of advisors tell us that there’s actually another 45 minutes of Valanoir; what I thought was the second episode was the second half of episode 1. This is kind of terrifying.
I watched this Japanese cartoon once. It was pretty good, except for the yashigani episodes.
Anyway, the DVD translation was kind of bad and the video was worse, which is a shame.
But now it’s unlicensed and can be fixed using technology:

Translation is original but heavily inspired by cff.ssw.net and Devil Doll.
The others will come out when they’re done.
PS If anyone has the first print of the R2 DVDs, with the Hikariemon clips, I could use them. I only have half of them saved from old Wizzu fansubs and one of them has a huge (and completely wrong…) hardsubbed note on top.
PPS I forgot to do the chapters in episode 1.
…is a 2002 video game anime OVA for some kind of SRPG looking thing you’ve never heard of. It’s an amazing work, even more beautiful than such greats as Akira, Musashi GUNdou, M.D. Geist, and Clutch Cargo. Anything that looks like an error is intentional, everything else is not.
Gakuen Alice was licensed by The Right Stuf. Aren’t they awesome?
I don’t know, that one sounds like a bad idea to me, but it’s been removed anyway.
Spice and Wolf is a novel Andrew Cunningham likes. Therefore it was subbed:
http://raspberryheaven.net/~adtrw/torrents/Spicy_Wolf_01_ADTRW.torrent
It uses both of these raws:
(アニメ) 狼と香辛料 第01話 「狼と一張羅」 (TVA 1024×576 x264).avi
(アニメ) 狼と香辛料 第01話 「狼と一張羅」(1280×720 x264 AAC).mkv
at the same time along with magic.
There might be a 720p one out by now that isn’t badly misencoded or an upscale; luckily, I don’t care. I hear MXTV (starting next Friday) is good, though.

The Norwegian designer, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he intended the flag to represent the union of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in a modern, cool light.
The dragon itself was inspired by a Japanese anime television series.
“It represents shouting “UNION!” and joining together; kicking reason to the curb and doing the impossible; fighting the power, and piercing the heavens,” he said
Here at Studio ADTRW we only read Private Eye, so it’s a good thing the Internet tells us this stuff.

New project! It is 34 episodes so we will finish it like never!
“Sakigake!! Otokojuku” is the manliest and most wildly offensive Shounen Jump series you’ve ever seen.
ANN‘s description is all that’s necessary:
Otokojuku, a private school for juvenile delinquents that were previously expelled from normal schools. At this school, Japanese chivalry is taught through the feudal and military fundamentals. Similar to an action film, the classes are overwhelmed by violence. Only those who survive it become true men.
Thanks, ANN. Maybe someday your contributors will learn to speak English.
Welcome to the NHK (the anime) is licensed by ADV Films. It is possible that people are no longer able to do things relating to it that they could formerly do here.
Also they’re publishing Yotsuba& again. That’s not related, it’s just a good excuse to go buy things from them.
