Gakuen Alice was licensed by The Right Stuf. Aren’t they awesome?
I don’t know, that one sounds like a bad idea to me, but it’s been removed anyway.

Spice and Wolf is a novel Andrew Cunningham likes. Therefore it was subbed:
http://raspberryheaven.net/~adtrw/torrents/Spicy_Wolf_01_ADTRW.torrent
It uses both of these raws:
(アニメ) 狼と香辛料 第01話 「狼と一張羅」 (TVA 1024×576 x264).avi
(アニメ) 狼と香辛料 第01話 「狼と一張羅」(1280×720 x264 AAC).mkv
at the same time along with magic.
There might be a 720p one out by now that isn’t badly misencoded or an upscale; luckily, I don’t care. I hear MXTV (starting next Friday) is good, though.

The Norwegian designer, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he intended the flag to represent the union of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in a modern, cool light.
The dragon itself was inspired by a Japanese anime television series.
“It represents shouting “UNION!” and joining together; kicking reason to the curb and doing the impossible; fighting the power, and piercing the heavens,” he said
Here at Studio ADTRW we only read Private Eye, so it’s a good thing the Internet tells us this stuff.
…and 4 and 5 and 6.

New project! It is 34 episodes so we will finish it like never!
“Sakigake!! Otokojuku” is the manliest and most wildly offensive Shounen Jump series you’ve ever seen.
ANN’s description is all that’s necessary:
Otokojuku, a private school for juvenile delinquents that were previously expelled from normal schools. At this school, Japanese chivalry is taught through the feudal and military fundamentals. Similar to an action film, the classes are overwhelmed by violence. Only those who survive it become true men.
Thanks, ANN. Maybe someday your contributors will learn to speak English.
Welcome to the NHK (the anime) is licensed by ADV Films. It is possible that people are no longer able to do things relating to it that they could formerly do here.
Also they’re publishing Yotsuba& again. That’s not related, it’s just a good excuse to go buy things from them.
We’re no Strato, but here’s the introductory episode to the modern hikikomori action epic!
The on-screen notes should explain the fancy visual culture vocabulary words well enough, but if I don’t kill myself through not getting enough sleep more work might be required to explain “moé“.
Here’s the subtitle file if anyone wants it:
ASS
Update: AVI
I said this project wasn’t dead, and I meant it!
Noriko finally stops whining and does what everyone in Japan aspires to do: fight against evil in a large robot!
PS - episode 5’s title is actually “Please, Time Enough for Love!”, not “Some Time for Love”, for obvious reasons.
Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa has been dropped for the forseeable future due to lack of translator interest. It’s being continued at http://mangatranslation.mrdummy.net/.
Gunbuster is still alive, just sleeping. Really, I promise.
A new project? No giant robots or sexual confusion? Unheard of!
Here’s episode one of Rozen Maiden Träumend, the sequel to some show about dolls who drink lots of tea. It’s available in modern semi-HDTV softsub and cavemanesque AVI.
