An inconceivable occurrence
We finished something.
Welcome to the NHK (the anime) is licensed by ADV Films. It is possible that people are no longer able to do things relating to it that they could formerly do here.
Also they’re publishing Yotsuba& again. That’s not related, it’s just a good excuse to go buy things from them.
Nothing continues to happen, and Defiler still hasn’t finished writing Ruby on Rails apps, so oh well.
You can get the rest of Gurren-Lagann by following here; if they’re going to do it we see no reason why we should.
Those other groups seem to be doing pretty well on those shows we started doing, and that means we don’t have to do any work! Isn’t that nice? We think so.
But more importantly, here’s another episode of little girls learning not to trust authority, a very important and strangely non-Japanese lesson.
Gakuen Alice 17
Some totally neat-o old OVAs that nobody else wants to watch will follow soon, as soon as Defiler finishes writing multi-million line Ruby on Rails applications.
(And the rest of this, obviously.)
It’s another horrible, horrible idea here at Studio ADTRW, as we do this stuff instead of schoolwork or WoW or whatever it is we’re supposed to be doing.
Bartender 2 was delayed a week broadcast, it’s not supposed to be out yet. When it is, it won’t be in HDTV, due to technical difficulties on the part of that one guy on Share. Them’s the breaks.
Also we did this thing. If you’re the people who used to do this thing, I guess you can restart it if you want. It would be a waste of all those DVD ISOs rk got, though.
Gakuen Alice 16
Why is Japan obsessed with Alice in Wonderland, anyway? Maybe it’s because Lewis Carroll was a pædophile.
Here is a fansub.
If some other group doesn’t do a hardsub by next week or so I will. Otherwise I won’t.
If they don’t have the “FUCKING ULTIMATE FUCKING MOÉ” line next episode I’m going to give up in protest and work on a project that has “Alice” in its name.
Any questions? Post them in the forums I guess.
PS this is what “ero-game” means: kj1980: official japanese person
I’m sure you already know that, but read it anyway, it’s educational.
We’re no Strato, but here’s the introductory episode to the modern hikikomori action epic!
The on-screen notes should explain the fancy visual culture vocabulary words well enough, but if I don’t kill myself through not getting enough sleep more work might be required to explain “moé“.
Here’s the subtitle file if anyone wants it:
ASS
Update: AVI
A certain anime with a really big robot in it is licensed by Bandai.
Our secret new project will be revealed sometime or other. Think teddy bears with axes.
(Does anyone read this? Is this thing on? Oh well.)
I said this project wasn’t dead, and I meant it!
Noriko finally stops whining and does what everyone in Japan aspires to do: fight against evil in a large robot!
PS – episode 5’s title is actually “Please, Time Enough for Love!”, not “Some Time for Love”, for obvious reasons.
